Usage Note
Urdido is the past participle of urdir, used adjectivally to describe something that has been hatched or plotted — una conspiración urdida en la sombra (a conspiracy hatched in the shadows). In its literal weaving sense, urdido refers to warp threads that have been set up on a loom. The figurative use is far more common in modern Spanish. It agrees in gender and number: urdida, urdidos.
Examples
"El complot fue urdido por varios dirigentes."
