Usage Note
Saque is a sports term derived from the verb sacar (to take out, to serve). In tennis it means 'serve', in football/soccer it covers saque de esquina (corner kick) and saque de banda (throw-in). Outside sport it rarely appears, so context is almost always athletic.
Examples
"El saque de esquina fue directo a gol."
Natural Translation
The corner kick went straight to goal.
