Usage Note
Rumba refers to a family of Afro-Cuban musical and dance genres that spread globally and also gave rise to the rumba flamenca (Catalan rumba) in Spain. In casual Latin American Spanish, irse de rumba can also mean 'to go partying'. Note the initial rr-like trill in the pronunciation.
