Quiosco (also spelled kiosco) is a small freestanding structure used as a newsstand, refreshment booth, or information point. In Spain, the quiosco de prensa (press kiosk) is a familiar street fixture for buying newspapers and magazines. The variant spelling kiosco is also accepted by the RAE, though quiosco is more common in print.
