Usage Note
Provisto is the irregular past participle of proveer (to supply/provide) and functions as an adjective. It requires agreement in gender and number: provista, provistos, provistas. The regular form proveído also exists but provisto is far more common in practice. It is often followed by de: provisto de herramientas means 'equipped with tools.'
