Usage Note
Plagado is the participial adjective of plagar and is almost always followed by de: plagado de errores ('riddled with mistakes'), plagado de turistas ('overrun with tourists'). It is strongly pejorative in tone — it never simply means 'full of' in a neutral or positive sense. Plagado de differs from lleno de (full of, neutral) — reserve plagado for problems, defects, or unwelcome excess.
