ordenado

tidy

adjective ohr-deh-NAH-doh Rare

Also means

ordained

Usage Note

Ordenado has two distinct uses: describing a neat, well-organised person or space (una habitación ordenada), and, in a religious context, describing a person who has received holy orders (un sacerdote ordenado). As a general adjective it takes estar for the current state of tidiness. The opposite of the first sense is desordenado ('untidy, messy').

Examples

"Siempre tiene el escritorio muy ordenado."

Natural Translation

He always keeps his desk very tidy.
