me

pronoun MEE Rare

Usage Note

(with accent) is the stressed prepositional pronoun used after prepositions: para mí, sin mí, a mí. The accent distinguishes it from the possessive determiner mi (my, no accent). In the reflexive phrase a mí mismo/a (to myself), both and the adjective agree with the speaker's gender. Learners sometimes incorrectly use yo after prepositions — in Spanish the stressed pronoun is always , never para yo.

Examples

"Ese regalo es para ."

Natural Translation
