Usage Note

Matriculado is the past participle of matricularse used adjectivally, describing a student who has officially enrolled in a course or institution. It agrees in gender and number: matriculada, matriculados. The process of enrolling is called matriculación or matrícula; the registration fee itself is also called la matrícula.
