Also means
overwhelmed
Usage Note
Inundado is the past participle of inundar used as an adjective, agreeing in gender and number (inundada, inundados). Beyond literal flooding it often appears metaphorically: inundado de solicitudes means swamped with applications. With estar it describes a temporary state, never with ser.
Examples
"El sótano quedó inundado tras la tormenta."
Natural Translation
The basement ended up flooded after the storm.
