Usage Note

Inteligentemente is a standard adverb formed by adding -mente to the feminine adjective inteligente. In Spanish, when two -mente adverbs appear in a series, only the last keeps the suffix: clara y inteligentemente (clearly and intelligently). It modifies verbs and adjectives to indicate that an action was performed with intelligence or cleverness.
