Also means
admission
Usage Note
Ingreso has two core senses a learner must distinguish: 'income' (los ingresos anuales) and 'entry/admission' (el ingreso a la universidad). In the plural ingresos almost always means earnings or revenue; in the singular it more often signals an act of entering or being admitted to an institution.
Examples
"Sus ingresos han aumentado este año."
Natural Translation
Their income has increased this year.
