improper, rude

Usage Note

Incorrecto means factually wrong (respuesta incorrecta = 'wrong answer') but also 'improper' or 'discourteous' in behaviour (fue incorrecto con ella = 'he was rude to her'). The latter sense is more formal; in everyday speech maleducado is more common for rude behaviour. It agrees in gender: incorrecta.
