gol
goal
noun GOHL Common
Origin: Borrowed from English 'goal' in the 20th century via football.
Usage Note
Gol is a football-specific loanword and its plural is goles (adding -es after a consonant). Outside Spain and Latin America's football culture it is rarely used. Note that 'goal' in the sense of an aim or objective is objetivo or meta in Spanish — gol is strictly the sports term.

Natural Translation
The forward scored a goal in the last minute.
