Usage Note
Finlandés refers to a person from Finland or the Finnish language. As an adjective it changes for gender and number: finlandesa, finlandeses, finlandesas. The accent on finlandés marks the stressed final syllable in the masculine singular; the accent disappears in other forms — finlandesa, finlandeses. Note that 'Finnish' and 'Finish' are frequent English spelling errors.
Examples
"Mi amigo finlandés habla tres idiomas."
Natural Translation
My Finnish friend speaks three languages.
