Usage Note
Estudiar is a regular -ar verb. It takes a direct object for subjects or fields (estudiar medicina), but when the object is more general it can stand alone: ¡a estudiar! ('time to study!'). The derived noun estudio can mean 'study', 'studio', or 'apartment studio' depending on context.
