Usage Note
Estilo covers personal style, artistic or literary style, and swimming strokes (estilo mariposa = 'butterfly stroke'). The phrase a mi estilo means 'in my own style'. In sports, cuatro estilos refers to the four swimming strokes in the medley. The related adjective estiloso ('stylish') is informal but widely used.
