Usage Note

Enrocar is the chess term for castling — moving the king two squares toward a rook in a single move. It is also used figuratively: enrocarse en su postura means to dig in or entrench oneself in a position, refusing to budge. The spelling change c→qu before -e is regular: enroque, enroqué.
