Usage Note
Encubrir is an irregular verb whose past participle is encubierto (not encubrido). It means to hide or cover up wrongdoing and carries legal weight: encubrimiento (concealment) is a criminal offence in Spanish law. Do not confuse with cubrir (to cover physically).
