Desparramado is the past participle of desparramar ('to scatter, to spill') used as an adjective. It vividly describes objects or people spread out in a disordered way — los papeles estaban desparramados por el suelo ('the papers were scattered on the floor'). In colloquial speech it can describe a person lying sprawled out lazily. The double r requires the rolled trill pronunciation.
