Desequilibrado can describe a physical lack of balance (a structure) or, more commonly, a person whose mental or emotional state is unstable. Used of a person, it can range from mildly eccentric to dangerously unstable — context determines the severity. The noun is desequilibrio and the opposite is equilibrado.
