Usage Note
Cívico describes what relates to citizenship and the duties of community life, such as comportamiento cívico ('civic behavior') or educación cívica ('civic education'). It carries a positive connotation of responsible, community-minded conduct. It is not a false friend with 'civic center' — a community center in Spanish is centro cívico, a direct calque.
