Also means
to cash
Usage Note
Cubrar is a non-standard form; the correct standard verb is cobrar (to charge, collect, or cash). The confusion arises from the vowel alternation o/u in some dialects. In edited Spanish always use cobrar; ¿Cuánto cobras? means 'How much do you charge/earn?'
Examples
"El fontanero cobra cien euros por la visita."
Natural Translation
The plumber charges a hundred euros for the visit.
