Usage Note
Creces is almost always used in the fixed phrase con creces ('with interest', 'more than enough'), e.g. Te lo devuelvo con creces ('I'll pay you back with interest'). It rarely appears outside this idiom. The singular crece exists but is virtually unused; learners will almost always encounter the plural form.
