Also means
appropriately
Usage Note
Convenientemente can be straightforwardly positive ('appropriately arranged') but is frequently used with irony in journalistic prose: el documento fue convenientemente extraviado ('the document was conveniently lost'). This ironic, suspicious overtone is worth learning early, as it is one of the most common uses in opinion writing. The base adjective conveniente means 'suitable, convenient' and does not carry the same ironic weight on its own.
Examples
"El informe fue convenientemente ignorado por los medios."
Natural Translation
The report was conveniently ignored by the media.
