Consensuar is a modern back-formation from consenso and means to negotiate something until all parties agree; it is widely used in Spanish political and journalistic language. It is a regular -ar verb and conjugates like actuar (consensúo, consensúas, …) because of the -uar ending. No direct single-word English equivalent exists.
