Usage Note
Climático is a relational adjective modifying nouns relating to climate — cambio climático (climate change), riesgo climático (climate risk). It is NOT the same as climatizado (air-conditioned) or climático in the sense of 'climactic' — the Spanish for 'climactic' (reaching a climax) is culminante or crucial. This false friend catches learners who read climático as 'climactic'.
Examples
"El cambio climático afecta a todas las regiones del mundo."
Natural Translation
Climate change affects all regions of the world.
