Usage Note

Cebado is the past participle of cebar (to fatten, to bait, to prime) used as an adjective. It most commonly describes an animal fattened for slaughter (cerdo cebado) or, in informal River Plate Spanish, a person obsessed or 'hooked' on something — está cebado con el juego means 'he is totally hooked on the game.' The word can also describe a primed firearm or a well-stoked fire.

Examples

"El cerdo cebado estaba listo para el mercado."

Natural Translation
