Usage Note
Camino can be a literal path (el camino de tierra — 'the dirt track') or a figurative way (el camino al éxito — 'the road to success'). El Camino de Santiago is the famous pilgrimage route. Note that while camino and calle both relate to routes, calle is specifically an urban street.
