Usage Note

Bolchevique refers to a member of Lenin's revolutionary faction that seized power in Russia in 1917, or more broadly to a communist revolutionary. The plural is bolcheviques. In informal or polemical Spanish it can be used loosely as an insult meaning radical leftist, much as in English.
