Usage Note
Bastante functions as an adverb ('quite, fairly': bastante bueno = 'quite good'), a determiner ('enough': bastante dinero = 'enough money'), and is invariable when used as an adverb. As a determiner it agrees in number (bastantes personas = 'enough/quite a few people'). It is milder than suficiente for 'enough' and softer than muy for 'very/quite'.
