Balanza refers to a weighing scale (the instrument) or a figurative balance, as in balanza comercial ('trade balance'). The plural balanzas is regular. Do not confuse with balance (m), a borrowing from English/French used in finance for a financial balance sheet or ledger. In the zodiac sign Libra is called Libra in Spanish, not Balanza, though balanza is the imagery behind the symbol.
