Usage Note

Aragonés refers to anything from Aragon, the northeastern Spanish autonomous community, or to its people. It is also the name of the Aragonese language (el aragonés), a Romance language spoken in the Pyrenean valleys that is distinct from Castilian Spanish and is considered endangered. The feminine form is aragonesa; plurals are aragoneses / aragonesas. Note the written accent on the final syllable drops in the plural.
