Aceptor is used mainly in technical or legal contexts to describe a party that accepts a bill of exchange or legal obligation. In biochemistry it also labels a molecule that receives electrons or atoms. Outside these registers the more common alternatives are receptivo or aceptante. Feminine form: aceptora.
